Inclusive Teacher Hiring Initiative (ITRHI) co-lead: The first city wide initiative focusing on the equitable hiring 

Lead for new teacher onboarding and new teacher support 

Philanthropy: Opened library in Trinidad and Tobago & donated over 500 books for library in Jamaica

Creator of study abroad program for students of color “Conversations That Matter” 

EIL (Equity in Leadership) and Management in Training Program: Accepted out of hundreds of applicants

Created and implemented the use of bilingual resource guide for university department

Managed all external partnerships and ongoing contract negotiations, decreasing organization spending 

Partnered with key contractors to successfully launch the first ever In-Kind fundraiser resulting in approx. $4k worth of donations annually 

Lead/Host for New Teacher Week: City-wide onboarding welcome week to the DOE w/ 2500+ teachers 

Manage 30k in grant funds 

Attended service learning trip to Barbados to meet with the Ministry of Education and observe classrooms: Columbia University

Built data reports and present findings for exec. superintendents, superintendents and Deputy Chancellors 

Advertise, analyze and present city-wide survey findings for new teachers on various topics including equitable hiring, onboarding, remote learning, professional development, career satisfaction and mentoring

Presenter at Principal Convenings & the Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging Conference

Proposal writer for Chief Experience Officers and other Senior Leaders
